As we head into spring break, here are the state leaders in each one of the 16 events contested at region, sectionals and the state meet (wind-legal times only):

Long Jump Boys: 23-feet, 0-inches; Matthew Chavers, senior, Parkview Girls: 18-feet, 3 ¾ inches; Morgan Bentley, junior, Brookwood

Triple Jump Boys: 47-feet, 3 ½ inches; Malik Thompson, junior, Parkview Girls: 39-4 ½ inches; Morgan Bentley, junior, Brookwood

Pole Vault Boys: 15-feet, 6 ¼ inches; Grant Briscoe, sophomore, Carrollton Girls: 12-feet, 10 ¼ inches; Payton Phillips, sophomore, Carrollton

Discus Boys: 188-feet, 3-inches; Tanner Duffin, senior, St. Pius X Girls: 145-feet, ½ inch; Ansley Whitley, senior, Marion County

Shot Put Boys: 67-feet, 9-inches; Tanner Duffin, senior, St. Pius X Girls: 46-feet, 7 ¼ inches; Hannah Jackson, senior, Kell

4X100 meter relay Boys: 41.53; Dutchtown Girls: 45.99; Buford
