Sooo in 6A. The number one team loses to the new number one team and falls to number 9. But the number 2 team loses to the new number 2 team and only drops to number 3. These rankings are horrible!

Been saying all along that Lee County was the top team in the state… still a tough stretch of upcoming games with Valdosta, Northside still looming, but… defenses win championships and big games

@philjonesradio I totally agree. Lee Co has made a great turnaround the last few years, but was a lot like HoCo. All offense, no defense. They tried to put up a lot of points and win shootouts. They made the turn more towards playing better defense 4 years ago and have continued to get better and better and now is one of the best defenses in the state. I think they have a shot to win it all, but like you said some big games still to come. Only time will tell. Going to be some great football the next few weeks.
