Last week: Beat Peachtree Ridge 31-12. Cameron Turley was 19-of-29 passing for a school-record 349 yards and four touchdowns. His top receivers were Edmond Graham (6-126-3) and Ace Williams (4-126-1). Peachtree Ridge QB Fred Payton threw for 338 yards, but Mill Creek allowed minus-12 yards rushing. Ayoola Ogun-Semore had four sacks. Next: Friday vs. Mountain View (7-1)

Last week: Beat Archer 38-0. QB Chase Brice was 9-of-13 passing for 192 yards and three touchdowns. LB Breon Dixon returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown. Grayson held Archer to 98 yards of total offense. Next: Friday vs. Newton (4-2-1)

Last week: Beat Kennesaw Mountain 43-14. Bailey Hockman threw for 261 yards. Carlton Bates had six catches for 96 yards. Kennesaw Mountain was held to less than 100 yards of total offense. Next: Friday vs. North Paulding (5-2)

Last week: Beat North Paulding 42-10. Will Lovett was 14-of-17 passing for 174 yards. C.J. Cole rushed for 73 yards on 12 carries. North Paulding QB Ross Malmgren, ranked third in passing yards in the highest classification, threw for 198 yards but missed on 19 of 33 attempts and was sacked four times and intercepted. Last week: Beat Central Gwinnett 55-45. Matthew Hill rushed for 202 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries. Dante Black rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. Central led 14-0 in the first quarter and 31-21 at halftime, but Brookwood scored 21 straight points in the third quarter, seven on Amir Berry’s 83-yard fumble return. Last week: Beat Lee County 26-7. QB Tobias Oliver rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. His 84-yard run with 1:14 left in the first half gave Northside a 13-0 lead. Isaiah Nelson’s 52-yard interception return made it 20-0 midway in the third quarter. Oliver scored on a 34-yard run in the fourth quarter to close the scoring. Next: Friday vs. Coffee (5-2)

Last week: Beat South Cobb 54-0. Harrison scored touchdowns on four first-quarter possessions. Justin Fields passed for 178 yards and three touchdowns. Steven Peterson had nine catches for 105 yards and two scores. Next: Friday at Dalton (7-0)

Last week: Lost to Northside, Warner Robins 26-7. Lee County QB Jase Orndorf threw for 178 yards but was intercepted four times, once on first-and-goal and another that was returned for a touchdown. Region-leading rusher Mark Robinson was held to 20 yards. Lee’s defense held Northside to three-and-out on eight of 13 possessions. Next: Friday vs. Valdosta (6-1)

Last week: Beat Sequoyah 49-21. Dalton scored on five of its first six possessions. J.P. Tighe was 10-of-13 passing for 181 yards and two touchdowns. Next: Friday vs. Harrison (7-0)

Last week: Beat Lovejoy 29-26. Tucker came back from a 26-14 deficit to win. Taurean Taylor’s 78-yard run midway in the fourth quarter gave Tucker its final 29-26 lead. Tucker had 377 yards rushing. Last week: Beat Brunswick 35-28. Glynn Academy put up 362 yards and five touchdowns rushing. Kendall Cross ran for 190 yards and three touchdowns on 34 carries. QB Deejay Dallas rushed for 131 yards and two scores on 11 carries and had 68 yards passing. Next: Friday at Richmond Hill (6-0)

Last week: Beat Houston County 42-35. Demetrius Davis rushed for 224 yards and scored five touchdowns (four rushing, one receiving). His 65-yard run in the final five minutes gave Coffee a 42-28 lead. Houston County, ranked No. 1 two weeks ago, now must beat No. 1 Valdosta or No. 2 Northside (and possibly both) to have a shot at the playoffs. Houston QB Jake Fromm was 25-of-40 passing for 325 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 86 yards. Next: Friday at Northside, Warner Robins (7-1)

Last week: Beat Eagle’s Landing 34-6. Jalen Holston rushed for 127 yards on 16 carries. QB Kenderick Duncan was only 2-of-8 passing but rushed for 78 yards on seven carries. Next: Friday vs. Hampton (1-6)

Last week: Beat Chestatee 42-6. Blessed Trinity led 21-0 at halftime, then scored three more touchdowns in the third quarter to put the game away. Steele Chambers rushed for 139 yards on 10 carries. Last week: Beat Lumpkin County 49-21. GAC led 42-0 at halftime. Kyler McMichael rushed for 104 yards on six carries. Davis Mills was 7-of-10 passing for 151 yards. Trey Morrison returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown. Next: Friday at North Hall (5-3)

Last week: Beat Rutland 45-0. Antonio Gilbert was 14-of-20 passing for 264 yards and four touchdowns. Rutland was limited to three first downs. Next: Friday vs. Kendrick (0-7)

Last week: Beat McNair 55-6. McNair led 6-0 after an 80-yard TD pass nine seconds into the game, but Westminster scored on its first five possessions and eight of 10 overall. Zay Malcome rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown on nine carries and played only a half. Next: Friday vs. Lovett (5-2)

Crisp County survived four lost fumbles with a strong defensive effort as Markaviest Bryant had three sacks and five tackles for losses and Brandon Dowdell and Tubby Spivey each intercepted two passes. Jammie Robinson rushed for 100 yards on 19 carries. Myles Napier was 9-of-15 passing for 116 yards and two touchdowns. Patrick Felton was 4-of-5 passing for 134 yards. Last week: Beat Pace Academy 49-0. Grant Walker had 201 of Cedar Grove’s 400 rushing yards on 16 carries and scored two touchdowns. Cedar Grove outgained Pace Academy 477-160. It was Cedar Grove’s second consecutive shutout and third of the season. DB Tre Shaw made seven tackles, two for losses, and recovered a fumble. Next: Saturday at Stone Mountain (1-6)

Last week: Beat Appling County 26-7. Jaalon Frazier passed for 190 yards (9-of-17, two TDs) and rushed for 132 on 16 carries. Elisha Polite had 80 yards rushing and 57 receiving with three touchdowns on 11 touches. Liberty County had 481 yards of total offense. Next: Friday vs. Long County (1-3-2)

*9. (4) Pace Academy (4-3)

Last week: Lost to Cedar Grove 49-0. Pace was outgained 470-160 and continued to struggle with run defense, giving up 400 yards on the ground. Next: Friday vs. McNair (3-4)

Last week: Beat Long County 42-0. Stetson Bennett threw seven touchdowns passes. He was 21-of-29 for 388 yards, largely in the first half, after which Pierce led 42-0. Bennett threw two each to Jay Bethea and Walker Reddish. Next: Friday vs. Tattnall County (3-4)

*1. (1) Benedictine (7-0)

Last week: Beat Toombs County 42-13. Benedictine hardly practiced last week and was forced to play this game on the road in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew but looked no worse for wear. Tyleek Collins rushed for 220 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries. Nick Iannone was 11-of-13 passing for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Next: Friday at Bacon County (1-5)

Last week: Beat Berrien 42-0. J.D. King rushed for 60 yards on 10 carries and had two receptions, both touchdowns, for 52 yards. Ethan Gordon rushed for 74 yards and a score on five carries. Next: Friday vs. Brooks County (6-1)

*3. (3) Jefferson County (8-0)

Last week: Beat Butler 44-8. Jefferson County suffered a safety and trailed 8-0 in the first quarter but ultimately held Butler to minus-25 yards rushing and won easily. Jaden Jenkins was 17-of-31 passing for 226 yards and rushed for 68 yards. Next: Oct. 28 at Josey (4-3)

Last week: Beat Heard County 24-14. Callaway won a game between ranked teams from Region 5 after trailing 7-0 early. Callaway got the next 24 points. D.J. Atkins rushed for 129 yards and two touchdowns and went over 1,000 yards rushing on the season (1,087). Last week: Beat Turner County 66-20. Clinch County had 348 yards rushing, 108 by QB Charles McClelland, and 167 yards passing on just five attempts (four completed). Last week: Beat Bowdon 24-12. Mount Zion broke a 13-game losing streak against Bowdon and won for only the second time in 31 games in the series. Jace Jordan rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries and opened the second half with an 85-yard kickoff return that set up a touchdown and a 14-0 lead. Jordan also threw a 12-yard TD pass to C.J. Ackles early in the fourth quarter for a 24-6 lead. Ackles intercepted two passes. Next: Friday vs. Trion (4-3)

Last week: Lost to Tattnall Square 34-27. Tattnall Square had the edge 398-232 in total yards. Twiggs’ Ja’mon Height rushed for 91 yards on 16 carries. Next: Friday at Mount de Sales (2-5)

Last week: Beat Warren County 34-6. QB Javon Reid rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. He was 2-of-4 passing, and both completions went to Tydarius Elam for touchdowns.
