Last week: Beat North Cobb 17-10. McEachern RB Paris Brown rushed for 158 yards on 25 carries and broke a 10-10 tie with his 64-yard run with 4:31 to play. McEachern trailed 10-0 in the third quarter and scored its first touchdown on a nine-play, 91-yard drive. Bailey Hockman was 11-for-23 passing for 196 yards. Next: Friday at Kennesaw Mountain (2-4)

Last week: Beat Lakeside, Atlanta 63-30. Caleb Mitchell threw seven TD passes, three to Miles Marshall, and completed 20 of 26 attempts for 424 yards. Malik Washington had four receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns and intercepted a pass. Justin Long returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown. Lakeside’s Maxwell Guggemoss rushed for 185 yards. Next: Friday vs. Berkmar (0-7)

Last week: Lost to McEachern 17-10. North Cobb took a 10-0 lead on Will Horton’s 31-yard field goal early in the second half but couldn’t hold it. Will Lovett was 11-for-23 passing for 121 yards, and C.J. Cole rushed for 64 yards on 15 carries. Next: Friday vs. North Paulding (5-1)

Last week: Beat Houston County 55-29. Lee County intercepted Jake Fromm four times and scored 30 straight points to lead 55-22 at the end of three quarters and set off a running clock. Mark Robinson rushed for 203 of Lee County’s 302 rushing yards. Aubrey Solomon stripped the ball from Fromm and scored from 30 yards, and his brother Kermit Solomon intercepted two passes. *2. (5) Valdosta (6-1)

Last week: Beat Northside, Warner Robins 14-6. Valdosta scored touchdowns on the recovery of a muffed punt in the end zone and a 79-yard drive in the second quarter. Hunter Holt was 9-of-12 passing for 52 yards and rushed for 27 yards, which accounted for more than half of Valdosta’s 123 yards of total offense. He was 6-of-6 passing on the long TD drive. *3. (2) Northside, Warner Robins (6-1)

Last week: Lost to Valdosta 14-6. Northside was limited to Alex Gelter’s field goals of 33 and 28 yards despite a 349-123 advantage in total yards. Northside was minus-two in turnover margin, including a muffed punt that resulted in a Valdosta touchdown. Tobias Oliver rushed for 109 yards and passed for 142. Next: Friday vs. Lee County (6-0)

Last week: Beat Sprayberry 35-7. Harrison clinched its first winning season since 2008. QB Justin Fields had 222 yards and two touchdowns passing and rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns. Last week: Beat Hephzibah 70-0. Thomson led 58-0 at halftime and rushed for 338 yards and seven touchdowns on 25 carries. Ten players had a rushing attempt, and six of them scored a touchdown. Next: Friday vs. Baldwin (3-3)

Last week: Beat North Clayton 42-0. Ryan Glover was 13-of-22 passing for 344 yards and four touchdowns. Josh Johnson had five catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. Last week: Beat Cross Creek 55-12. Demari Kelly rushed for 160 yards on 12 carries and was 2-of-4 passing for 47 yards. Cross Creek’s Jesse Marshal rushed for 209 yards, including an 80-yard TD run just 15 seconds into the game. However, Burke County scored the next five touchdowns. Last week: Beat Pace Academy 49-36. Zay Malcome had 437 all-purpose yards – 175 rushing, 64 receiving and 198 returning. That included a 99-yard kickoff return and 58-yard interception return. Next: Friday at McNair (3-3)

Last week: Lost to Westminster 49-36. Deon Jackson rushed for 276 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries and threw an 80-yard TD pass to Trey Blount that got Pace within 35-28 midway in the third quarter, but Pace got no closer.
