How the game was won: Marist held a 7-0 halftime lead and coasted from there to shut out Belen Jesuit in the American Football Showcase at Donnybrook Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
Top performers: Marist quarterback Jack Dinges threw for two touchdowns, to Dean Johnson in the first half and John Fitzpatrick in the second. Michael Addicks had a one-yard touchdown run to put Marist up 24-0, and Timmy Bleekrode hit two field goals for the War Eagles.
Arabia Mountain 35, Redan 20
How the game was won: Brandon Snowball rolled his way to two touchdowns to secure an Arabia Mountain victory. His 12-yard run with 2:28remaining put the game out of reach.
Top Performers: The Rams jumped out to a 21-6 lead at the half behind a Samad Noble 8-yard pass to Desmond Rocker, a Snowball 2-yard run and a Noble 25-yard keeper. Redan tacked on a Cori Pritchett 70-yard run in the second quarter. Carl White made it 28-6 on a 16-yard touchdown run at the 9:39 mark of the third quarter before Pritchett punched in a 1-yard sneak and a 45-yard run to cut the lead to 28-20 with10:15 remaining in the fourth. Snowball’s second touchdown of the game ended the Raiders’ bid for a comeback.
