Grayson coach Jeff Herron is in the semifinals with his fourth school (Oconee County, Camden County and Prince Avenue Christian were the others). Only three other coaches in GHSA history (Mike Hodges, T. McFerrin and Charlie Winslette) have done that. Answer to Wednesday’s question: St. Pius was the school that had its five-year streak of making the quarterfinals ended this season.
