Daily List: Long losing streaks against ranked teams that recently ended

FootballAthens Christian had been 0-18 against ranked teams since joining the GHSA in 2000 until it defeated No. 1 Commerce last week. That’s not such a long drought historically, though, as ranked teams by nature are pretty hard to knock off. Here are the 17 losing streaks against ranked opponents that went 30 games or more – and were broken – since 1982. (Many such streaks linger, including a 56-gamer by Wheeler County.)
