Position: Defensive end/linebacker

Height, weight: 6-5, 230

Class: Senior

College choices: Anderson committed to Georgia, then LSU, but de-committed from both. Those schools remain among six that reportedly have extended scholarship offers. Others include Alabama, Auburn, Clemson and Tennessee.

2016 season summary: Anderson was the Class AAAAA defensive player of the year last season, when he had almost 30 tackles for losses and helped lead the Wolves to their first state title in program history. Rome coach John Reid calls him a “defense end hybrid,” but he is projected as a linebacker in college and is rated the No. 2 outside linebacker prospect in 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
