Grade: Senior
Events: 100m Dash, 200m Dash, long jump, 400m Relay and 1600m Relay.
Team Record: The Pepperell boys team finished in sixth place in the class AAA state meet.
Individual Statistics for this year: Holiday won the 100m Dash, the 200m Dash and finished in eighth place in both the 400m Relay and the 1600m Relay at the class AAA state meet. His time of 10.49 in the 100m Dash set the new AAA state record mark. The previous record was 10.50. Earlier this season he ran a time of 10.39 at the region 6AAA meet to finish in first place. The time is the fastest in the history of Georgia and the fastest in the nation this year according to coach Hunt.
This season Holiday has won every meet he's entered in the 100m and 200m Dash. Included in the wins are the Northwest Whitfield Invitational titles, the Cartersville Invitational titles and the Rome Relays. He also won the 60m Dash at the Georgia Dome.
Individual Career Statistics: As a junior Holiday won the 100m Dash at state and set the record at 10.56. The record was not broken this year. As a sophomore he finished second in the 100m Dash and as a freshman he finished third in the 100m Dash.
Past Awards or Recognition: This year Holiday won the Herman J. Stegeman Award for the most points in the class AAA state meet, the Best Performance Award for his performances in the 100 and 200m Dash, the Morris M. Bryan Memorial Trophy for the most outstanding performance at the state meet regardless of class and he's been the Pepperell track and field MVP all four years.
Grades and Extracurricular Activities: Holiday signed with Auburn University to play football for the team next season. On the gridiron he's a four-year starter and was named first-team all-state as a freshman, sophomore and senior. He was a PrepStar All-Region and one of the top 50 players in Georgia according to SuperPrep Magazine. He was a Rivals.com All-Region player and one of the FoxSports.com top players in Georgia.
Possible Future Colleges: Already signed with Auburn University to play football. He might run track his sophomore year at the school.

Additional Comments: "It's been fun watching him run. You really can't coach speed like that. He's a tremendous competitor and he's been a huge part of our track team. He's the fastest ever to come out of here. He's by far the best track athlete we've ever sent out of here," said coach Hunt.
